They died for 30 thousand rups?
I hardly could believe what I read at detik.com, so that I also then visited kompas.com and tempointeraktif.com.
Yes. They all wrote “21 Killed when rushing for Zakat”.
What I can learn from this tragedy is that:
1. The needy is still there around us. Life is getting harder and harder for them that they will do anything, even for only 30 thousand rups.
2. Tolerance is now diminishing in our society, even to other people in the same boat. Only for 30 thousand rups, they stepped on others.
3. Good will does not always end with good result.
Then, I am speechless… 21 killed of 30 thousand rups. It’s really hard to believe.
