The Smartest Parrot

Once upon a time, there lived a man in the edge of a village who had a wonderful parrot. There was no parrot like that. The parrot could say every word except one word. It was the name of city where the parrot was born, Catano.

The man was very excited that he had the smartest bird, but he could not understand why the parrot could not say Catano. Then he teached the bird to say the word every day. However, the bird kept not saying the word.

At first the man reated the bird kindly, then because the bird kept did not say the word, he got angry. He started to scream in front of the bird, “say Catano or I will kill you!” but the bird kept silent. Day by day has passed but the bird still did not say the word, and the man kept screaming to the bird, “say Catano or I will kill you, stupid bird!”.  Then the man got very angry, and he picked the bird rudely and threw it into a chicken house. There were three chickens in the house, and they were all big. “just stay here. You know I will cut the chickens for my breakfast, and the next is your turn, stupid bird!” said the man, then he left the bird.

The next day, the man wanted to pick the bird in the chicken house. When he opened the door, he was very surprised that he found all the chickens were dead and the parrot standed behind them. Then the parrot said, “say Catano or I will hit you!”
