An Arrogant Lion and a Tiny Mouse

A long time ago there was an arrogant hungry lion, sleeping in his den under the tree. Jack was his name. Edhie was a tiny mouse.

Edhie was playing around him. He ran up of  Jack’s tail, danced on his stomach and jumped on his head. It made Jack woke up and he got angry to Edhi.

“How dare you wake me up!,”  the lion continued “Don’t you know that I am hungry  and I gonna eat you!,” Jack grabbed Edhie and he already ate the mouse. “I don’t mean to wake you up. I was just playing, it just a mistake,” Edhie scared “Don’t eat me please, let me go, Jack,”.

Jack was still on his temper. “But you have made me in bad mood. Don’t you that I am the King of Jungle so I can do anything I want,” Edhie begged “Don’t eat me Your Majesty, Don’t you know too that one day I can save your life from a danger, we can be a friend,”.

Jack laughed loudly “Are you insane with your talking? Being your friend ? oh no! . I’m the strongest animal here so it is impossible to you to save my life from the danger hahaha,” Jack roared. “Because you have made me laughed and you put me in a good mood so I’ll let you go,” Jack opened his claws and Edhie ran as fast as he could while said “Thanks Jack !,”

At the same time, when Jack looked for some meals. He caught in a hunter’s snare. He struggled to escape but he couldn’t break free. He let out roar of anger as a sign if he needed a help. All the animals in the jungle heard also a kind-hearted mouse, Edhie. He decided to help. He ate the rope until the lion could escape.

Jack was very grateful “Thank you Edhie for saving my life. I apologized of being underestimate you,” . “It’s okay, Jack” said Edhie then Jack continued to say “Would you like to be my friend, Edhie ?,” “Of course, I would” answered Edhie with his smile.

Now they became friends for good and they lived happily each other.
